An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Neurophysiology department, at The Walton Centre NHS Foundation Trust, a world leading centre for Neurology and Neurosurgery. The suitably qualified Healthcare Scientist will join a team primarily involved in intra-operative neurophysiology in addition to undertaking a range of department and ward-based Neurophysiology investigations.

An opportunity has arisen to support the delivery, leadership, training and supervision of this team. Successful applicants must have experience in spinal monitoring or other equivalent areas of intra-operative monitoring practice. Successful candidate will be appointed on a band 7/8 development post or band 8a (dependent on experience)and will undertake a detailed competency-based training program.

The post holder must be an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual, experienced in all modalities of neurophysiological tests and have knowledge and skills of intra-operative monitoring.

All candidates should have minimum of MSc Clinical Science (Neurosensory) or equivalent experience and be RCCP registered.
